This is a slideshow that starts with a stock 1970 Volkswagen Beetle
and shows the transformation that takes place as it is converted into a SCORE certified class 5/1600 desert racing machine. It finished 6th in class in the BAJA 1000 2008.

I love this vid and watch it often.

NICE!!We, AnS Racing, ran the CODE series in '06 and won the champ! In '07 we ran the full SCORE 5/16 series and came in 3rd in class for the season. Best times!

We passed tech the first time, but we did our homework .We built the car up here in Vancouver and had two years of telephone calls to Bill Savage the score tech guy, we drove him nuts and he pretty much new the car when it showed up for the pretech in Sandiego. The front travel sucked for the race, we hadnt prerun at all in fact we started it the first time the night before the race, we have it dialed now way more travel. The biggest changes we need to do are make it lighter
