  • 5 month bump! The car sat for 2 years cause the transmission was done and I was poor and in college. It's back on the road this year. The 305 is a dog, I know that. I'm sure there's not much left in it so when it is done for its gonna get a 350 swap, probably LT1.

  • @2008PowerStrokeF450 well, they do make 300+ with no mods :D and drop about 100 pounds off the front of the car. and get 26 mpg on the highway. or go with a junkyard 5.3 liter, you can find those things for under 1000, and they are just as capable of making power as an ls1.

  • @firechicken76 i knew you'd like that idea better haha.

  • @2008PowerStrokeF450 there you go!

  • @firechicken76 fuck it then, drop in a LS1 sheesh...

  • @2008PowerStrokeF450 lol, with 305? are you on crack? with extensive mods, maybe 300, tpi's require alot of work to get hp out of them. I mean even if you put after market heads, a big roller cam, long tube headers, a free flowing exhaust, an aftermarket intake manifold, aftermarket throttle body, and a tune, you might see 300, but 400? no way, even the tpi 350s have a hard time hitting 400, and thats usually after they have been stroked and totally rebuilt.

  • Those numbers aren't bad for the year.

  • @cmccane considering the stangleold the government had on emissions and what not, the output isn't to bad, besides, with some work, you can probably make 400 or so out of these motors if you know what youre doing

  • lb9 305s were rated at 190-225 hp and 285-330 ft/lbs of torque so it really isnt that weak
