My favourite part of bellringing was ringin down at the end. It was sad because it was the end but i loved the sound of ringing down... i love muffles too

I agree with you, that harmonic resonance is superb to listen to, especially if they are heavy bells!

i love the hum that happens when you ring the bells down, i am learning to bell ring at the moment (i am not too great though at the moment)

when there are only two people ringing down at a tower i go to - they say miss and catch in Queens as a joke, haha.

thanks i'm missing the bells at the mo as they have stopped because of damage to the church tower

do you mean that swirling sound? i take for ever ringing down a single bell on my own. i always habe to listen to each strike.

I rang the tenor down on its own at Oswestry a couple of months ago and I just fell in love with the sound.

they didn't catch queens, i think they caught rounds.
Good job of catching rounds anyway!
