Believe in Me - by Kimberly Freeman of One-Eyed Doll

I had been crying alot before I recorded this, I hadn't slept, and I looked terrible, but I decided that it was important to share it with you.. No make-up, no giant hair and red dress, no stage, no fancy lights.. Just me singing a song to the people who've made my life worthwhile.

I wrote it after being deported from the UK, devastated by the cancellation of our tour.. I guess it was a plea to my fans and to myself..

This is a song to my beautiful friends and fans who've never stopped believing in me and to my hero, Bernie Jones...

I recorded this video the night that I left to see my grandpa Bernie before he died in California. I wanted to play his guitar for him and show him what I'd done with the gift he'd given me. He died while I was in the airplane on the way.

I played it at his coffin before I left for Texas, the morning of this funeral. I think he was there listening... I was also able to leave with him a copy of the song, "Brief Candle" from the new album that I recorded for him.

I'd also like to thank the Funeral Director, Jered for allowing me to do that. What an amazing and caring man.

Thank you so much to everyone who's been so loving and understanding of everything - all of our fans and friends and my drummer who has been the most loyal person in the world to my music. Thanks for believing in me and backing me up through it all..

This is beautiful, thank you for sharing it. I have only recently discovered your music and fallen in love with it. I had hoped that at some point you would be able to play a UK tour but I have only tonight come across this video along with the context of it. It makes me so sad that you were deported along with the awful concurrent circumstances. I really hope that I can make it to the States to see you play one day.
