Just a test with editing techniques. Shot with 60d at 60fps, with an 18-135mm lens. Final Cut Pro and Motion used. I attempted to do a 'tilt-shift' look, but I kinda strayed away from that a little. The song is from the soundtrack of Dexter.

  • very nice; by the way, does the 60d have an external mic input??

tks; I currently own a nikon d3100, and found that there are a few other cams out there like the 60d that offers higher meg res and options....also, I want better cinema like quality, and the d3100 is listed as an entry level dslr......might I be better off with something like the 60d?

    tks; torchidman on youtube.

  • @torchidman yes it does, its a mini one. No audio monitoring tho, either by headphones or viewing the levels when you record, so it would be best to buy a separate audio recorder.

  • @thomalilas Yea its a song from Dexter called "Astor's Birthday Party".

  • what music is that? intro dexter? sorry, i dont know english. but what music was plaied on video?

  • Great video could u tell me how to do slow motion like u?

  • What was motion used for? Slow mo?

  • Why so many dislikes? This is one of my favourite 60D short film on Youtube.

P.S - Dexter is my favourite show. :)

  • @torchidman dude. im gonna tell you something that no one else has the balls to tell you. nikon slrs take better looking video (larger sized pixels rather than more of them, also better lenses for the money) . canon is cool because they shoot 60p, that's about it. if you want to upgrade, just get the d5100. then you get the better sensor (for a more film like look), the microphone input (make sure to get a nice shotgun mic) and you can still use whatever lenses you bought for the d3100.

  • looks decent.....getting my 60d soon...
