Hi, firstable, congratulation in your project.. its amazing really. Im building a project like yours, my question is: how do you communicate the opencv with the pics, i mean how do you manage to obtain an output from the code and then send it to the microcontroller, im sure its the rs232, but how?.. Anyway, any information you could give me, ill be more than thankful. Greetings from Mexico.

Do you mean only the mechanical part or whole system including pc and microcontrollers' software ? If so you need to know programming language c/c++ or matlab also you need microcontrollers and also how to program them ( we used a pic16f877a and a pic16f628a.The code is written in C language. As the compiler we used HI-TECH PIC-C compiler to program microcontrollers, it compiles c code into machine language and you flash the code into pics with a pic programmer board)
