I met him during his French Tour.I was working/helping the boss of the music

bar where he made a splendid concert featuring Tom Cat Blake.At the middle of the performance he said :"we're gonna have a break", most of the audience who didn't understand English began to leave,so I took the mike and shouted : "stay here folks,ther's a second show and his CD is for sale ! "

In 10 minutes he sold all the records.He said to me : "thanks for helping" and he offered me his CD.I will never forget him.

Rock was my harp teacher when I lived in Tampa, then when I moved to wisc. he would make me lesson tapes, then we met up in Switzerland & went to dinner with Speddy, Maureen and Dadu (? ) Speedys wife and we laughed till we cried. I played with him at the Sanford Blues Fest a month before he pased. He played with such passion. I miss him and his teachings everyday. We were in Ocala and Gary Coleman got up on stage and danced to Rock's playing...we really laughed abourt that. Mike Opal

Thanks for posting these clips Rob!!! You're must be the first person to do it - I'd like to see some of the older stuff that he did way back before I knew him. Somebody somewhere might even have some footage of us together too. Now I can send links to people who never had a chance to see him.
