Left handed scissors and cutting left-handed

Why right handed scissors do not work for left handers and the problems left handed children have at school with scissors

when i was in school, there was never any left-handed sciossors, so i was forced to use right-handed ones. anyway, i didn't think there was that much difference -- but now looking back i realize that i was always uncomfortable (hand strains), and i couldn't get them to work sometimes if they were "loose" like everyone else could. i thought i was just bad at cutting. that wasn't the case though...

Problems of the lefties... I've learned to use right-hand scissors upside-down, I don't know how using proper scissors would feel 0_o

@heather65459 I was just stating my opinion. I didn't mean they were pointless for everyone, just to me. I understand that a lot of leftys cant use right-handed scissors (I mostly know ones who can, though) it's just that I personally don't have any use for them.

Well good for you. But while we learned to handle righty scissors, that does not change the advantages to lefty scissors. So don't act like lefty scissors are pointless.

I (a lefty) find left-handed scissors completely pointless. I learned how to use right handed scissors in my left hand without any problems mentioned in the video. What's more? I find lefty scissors nearly impossible to use. I can cut with right handed scissors without any problems, cut my circles clockwise without bending or ripping the paper, and don't feel any discomfort. I grew up in an almost completely right-handed family and have adjusted a left-handed like to a right-handed world.

I just bought my first pair of left handed scissors from Wal-Mart. They are Fiskars. I am so happy! I went 45 years using right handed scissors. Major ouch. My new scissors are " sheer heaven", lol! Get it? Now what else left handed can I find? Oh yeah I am looking at a left handed guitar. Don't you just HATE it when you are looking fir a left handed guitar and someone says you should learn right handed because you have more choices? Ah Duh bro. I am left handed and that is how my brain works.
