Nice driving over the grass in the ford chicane. :( Pointing and aiming a car isn't difficult, at least in a video game.

The game has the capability to penalise the player based on cutting corners and the designers designed this one to not implement those penalties on this challenge. I beat the challenge fairly & squarely. ;)

I got lucky last night I was -0.232 behind. You take the car as is in this one. My trouble is patience and skill. I loose it on the last lap every time. lol Thanks

I have little patience for any individual game myself but I get by on shear dumb stubbornness on any one challenge. :D

How do you get that faster lap? run about the same lap times, but i am 7 seconds behind. The leader runs a 9.12 race.

May be there's a Quick-Tune option before hand? (I can't remember.) If there is, then power to max & weight to minimum.

hey Bart, just saw this vid. gave this mission a try and i got it, but it was NOT a clean run on DS2. (entire 3 laps i kept cutting the sand in the last corner before the finish line. ~_~)

my time was 9'08.163 though.

and yeah the game didn't penalise when you cut through the dirt/grass section. you only get a 5 sec penalty if you head-on with an AI car.
