In the 1921 general election (2nd Dáil) Michael Collins was elected in the Armagh constituency.
This appearance was on Sunday 4th September 1921, and was his first public appearance in Armagh since 1918.

Michael Collins is the greatest leader in modern Irish history.
It is an unmasking fact that what de Valera could not accept in 1922, after Michael Collins´ assassination he then accepted - the Oath of Allegiance and military commitments. The cruel civil war was fought for nothing at all - except de Valera´s political career.
