We had a limited budget to build our coop and pen so we used the garage shelter for cover, this way we only had to build two walls, and the floor for the coop. Using scraps left over from previous home improvement projects we began our coop. To learn more about raising chickens go here http://www.youfixitmom.com/build-a-chicken-coop/

  • hi what's that song called? it's relaxing :)

  • @AmielDionisio it is called Alladin by EricTinstand

  • nice job. but for a coop like that, i would at least have 30-40 chickens.

  • @MFRoosy16 Realy? We started with 17. I suppose we could have had more.

  • wow, thats pretty good for using scraps.

Thats one of the best ways for saving lots of cash.

  • @Nibbles53 We have sinced moved to a new location. The way we constructed the nesting boxes was also very easy to disassemble and relocate. We turned a small tool shed into the new coop using the same materials for the nesting boxes.
