Boston fans should be thankful the world had a Michael Sweet for the position. I think this version is pretty good.

Boston is/was a 1000x times better and more talented than Stryper will ever be!

awsome cover... boston fans will like it less... stryper fans will like it more... the drums are the biggest difference. i like both bands equally now i have a heavier version of this song to jam out to!!!! still LOVE the original that first album hit in 75 and the production sounded like 89 or 90 !!! boston was 15 years ahead of there time. is it boston... no but it is a damn good version in my opinion

Well ~ Done ! <:

He played ALL of the instruments on the first album.

After haveing listed to this crap all the way through with the HORRIBLE drumming especially on the verses, they didn't even play the best part of the song at the end!!! Totally embarrasing!! You have 2 guitar players in the band and supposedly Tom on this trac and then YOU DON'T PLAY THE 3 PART HARMONY AT THE END!!!

@BostonWalksOn Bluesbred3 is right. Tom does play with them, and it's not TERRIBLE, but he does tweak it unnecessarily. Tom, in my opinion, was guilty of "tweaking" the classic Boston by turning classic rock into rocket science

O just can't stand the verses. The drums are hard to stomach. But the rest is pretty cool

i really love this cover
is it true that michael sweet is also in boston now ?

I think both versions are equally great in their own way. For me, it just depends on what mood I'm in.

Micheal Sweet, I'm sorry for your loss. I stand by Stryper and your belief, but don't tweak a classic.

This song is actually on the new album, and Tom Scholz plays it with them.
