Old-Time Fiddle Tune Learned from Kenny Baker and Many other Kentucky Fiddle Players. Also called Tea-Totaler's Reel.

    The temperance reel, or teetotalers reel, is an Irish tune that's still common in Ireland. So it's no wonder you hear Irish here.

    There are several old Irish tunes to be found here, but the style in general seems to take more after Scottish.

  • @sheenque Especially from Kentucky. Further south there's more blues influence.

  • When you listen closely, you hear Ireland in a lot of Appalachian Music
