This looks like a lot of fun! But isn't the oldest wooden coaster actually Leap the Dips in Pennsylvania? That one was built in 1902 and is still running.

The scenic railway at Luna Park in Melbourne Australia has been continuously operating since 1912.

The guy standing up is a break-man, these old coasters use a person to bring it to a stop and to ensure it doesn;t go to fast over the hills
