This is 1 of 3 "Track 1 + Track 2" combos that I have uploaded.

The album "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour" is 1 of several albums by the Moody Blues in which the first 2 tracks link together (no pause between songs). It is intended to be heard as if the 2 tracks are only one long song. It doesn't make sense to listen to the first track without hearing the second afterward, so this video is my way of sharing with you the way this music was intended to be heard.
The first 7 albums by the Moody Blues all have songs that connect (with the exception of the last song on side 1 and the first song on side 2).

Song Details:
"Procession" = It's a journey through time with music, beginning with creation ("DESOLATION! CREATION!"), transitioning to caveman chants (all band members participating in grunts), then some more familiar instruments.
"The Story In Your Eyes" = written by lead singer / guitarist Justin Hayward.

NOTE: I've found that listening to the "The Procession" with headphones is far more interesting... plus it's easier to pick up sounds during more quiet parts of the song. Although you might jump when it gets loud all of the sudden!

The images in this video is the album artwork (outside and inside). The album is a gatefold design (not limited to the 12X12 LP jacket surface) so that when the album is opened the whole picture is revealed.

Any one know? please post for me and or e-mail to me Reborn1957@gmail.com Thanks a bunch!!!

  • @mrsolofeo Bravo. One of the most concise & effective posts I have read. Of course it helps that I agree wholeheartedly.

  • Classic album. Classic album cover.

  • love the mellotron at 4:15

  • My mom thought the piano riff at the end of the song reminded her of the Munsters theme. I can't hear this song without being reminded of that. LOL.

  • @KENZOWAL Apart from Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
