Attempting a backwards 360 on the FWD Honda Civic...
for those of you that want to know... this is a stock Honda Civic DX with the SOHC engine that puts out 99HP to the wheels.

hey i think your off alittle with the hp i have a 99 hx and that has 115 stock

@spikefish1989 - i guess it depends in the year. the car stock has 106 (crank), normally at the wheels it's 20% of crack, so that would make it really 85HP, but everyone here knows a body kit, a subaru spoiler, Z3 fenders, cool wheels, dual exhaust give the car an extra 14HP, so that's how i got the 99HP

crank hp reading is before the drivetrain lost of 15% is actually recorded which sums up to a lost during the transfer of power from the engine to the drive train ( useable power ). what your motor can do free spinning is different in terms of what its actually capable of.

the 1996-2000 civics engine specs are noted below

106 hp @ 6200

103 ft-lbs @ 4600 DX

115 hp @ 6300

104 ft-lbs @ 5400 HX

127 hp @ 6600

107 ft-lbs @ 5500 EX

b18c1 / b16a2 is the way to go. dont waste time/cash

@harlemkiid149 - They are denji. do a search, i mine came with the bumper, when i got it used in 2000. i guess Ebay should sell them.

if you need just any lights get PIAA 520, they are real nice. i would get a set of amber lights if you don't have a set, the PIAA 520's really do cut through the fog and just work nice overall. they are 80W though, so make sure you point them down, else you might get a ticket or a punch in the face by someone in front of you.
