I'm looking to make a squash-able and stretchable character for my final project next year.

Check out the Digital Tutors cartoon character rigging tutorial. It's where I got most of the ideas for this rig. There are a few things it doesn't do (fk, bendable limbs, locking elbows etc) but it's a great start.

@petewarbis yh u r right, i didnt even think about that, but luckily i found an advance rigging tutorial that teaches u everything u need to know about biped rig, its called 'Fahrenheit digital' check their website out. By the way if u know any bird rigging tutorial please let me know.
