From what I can see here, Bette didn't even contemplate cheating with Kelly. Not only did she push Kelly away and tell her that she was in love with Tina, her daughter is sleeping down the hall, for goodness' sake! Why Jodi lied to Bette (or was lied to by Kelly/Jenny/whoever) is pretty obvious. Same reason that Jodi made that stupid video exhibition at the Hammer museum. She's a vindictive cow.
