The LED lights on each stick are randomly triggered based on activity that occurs during system operation. I got the system to run this heavily by running Prime95 for a burn-in sequence since it is a new setup. Normally you never get this much activity/
6 sticks of 2gb each for 12gb of system ram.
System is i7 920 chip on 1366 socket running stock 2.66Ghz for now.
Also running 3 drives of OCZ 30gb SSD drives in a RAID 0 configuration pulling continuous reads of over 600MB/second. Compare to a standard platter-based hard drive doing maybe 50MB/second. Also provides 0.1ms seek times versus 12+ from my old setup.
I have the same Crucial Ballistix and i love them but I have blue

That's some bright-ass memory. I almost really like it... I was contemplating getting some, but I'm not sure I could handle that 24/7.
