If you have any questions about car audio, I will be glad to answer them.
Watch Part 2 & 3 after this.
2 JL Audio 8W7's
1 JL Audio 1000/1v2 Amp
1 TMA T2-320.4 4-Channel Amp
4 Memphis Audio MCS69 COMPONENT 6x9s
1 Clarion MAX685BT Head Unit
PS2
Two 19" Flip-down Screens

Here are some facts that most people don't know about Capacitors. On the first instance of discharge, its capacitance is down by approximately 63.2% from its supplied voltage, and its no longer any help at all to stabilizing the voltage of the audio system. What matters here is how long and how often the capacitor is called upon to stabilize the voltage of the audio system during this time. The capacitor takes effectively five times longer to charge (for stabilizing the systems supply voltage) than it does to dump its effective energy and become a load on the electrical system. For systems that are constantly starving for stabilized voltage, a capacitor might not be as good an answer as an alternator upgrade (if it drives) or a battery (if its parked a lot at shows). Finally, if you have a problem with dimming headlamps, the capacitor is probably better installed on the lighting circuit near the headlamps than the audio system (it will require less capacitance, too).

  • yeah, i had to shave my avenger's dash to fit my pioneer double din radio in. but what are you using to power all of this? and extra battery? because i was thinking about getting a redtop, but the battery can only be reached by taking off the front wheel.

  • @KelvinHairII I went with the dual alternator setup. The stock alt powers the stock electronics, and the 2nd high output alt supplies power to the amps. I DO NOT recommend going this route, cause it requires WAY too much effort and money. Redtops are good, but don't get two unless you have a 2nd alt. Two batteries on one circuit will put to much strain on your charging system (alt). If your voltage drops belows 10.5 or so, upgrade your alternator.

  • I have this same car an i wanted to kno what type of radio that is?? cuz it looks like it fits perfect. Nice system by the way

  • @Trini0813 It does not fit. Avengers do not have true double-din openings. I had to shave the bottom of the dash to get it to fit.

  • is their something better than a capacitor?

  • @JoseM190 a High Output Alternator is the absolute best possible solution

  • @JustinHissom5773 there 8''s

  • are those tens or is that a custom box? i have an avenger but my two 12's wont fit unless in an awkward position.

  • @strtballer32 dont buy a capacitor...you would be wasting your money

  • @lengleng1314 its not gm, its dodge. its a chrysler.

  • It is weird that people keep askin' the songs name altough its already written some pages before. The songs name is Jeezy - The President Is Black.
