shading piece by piece isnt recommended.. they wont all come together nicely..
-
what PSI are you using? also is it important to only use black on the edges? COuld you just paint the whole piece black? then go in with the blue?
-
@dryzoneau is it possible to paint the main colour first and then apply the shadowing/shading?
also, what ratio of thinner to acrylic paint should i use?
-
Whats the name of the Music your using ??????
-
Oh man, so basically this is automotive painting on a smaller scale. Sweet, I'd use my Anest-Iwata spray gun if it didn't already have years on it.
-
Where should I buy and what brand of primer should I get for the best results?
-
@Vegeta101691 No. You spray on a lighter colour of the previous coat into the middle of the gundam part. Avoid spraying your post shading coat onto the sides and panel lines, otherwise, you'll just cover up the preshade.

@dryzoneau this might be a stupid question, but i am a beginner after all so.. when you do the post-shading do you go over all the same spots (sides, panel lines etc)you went over with the black pre-shading?
OMFG, I shot coffee out of my nose when you spilled the paint out of the cup.... Way to go and kudos to you for not editing that out and instead making a joke of it with the "oops" comment...

do you ratio your thinner + paint like 80:20, 70:30 or something? or do i had to put more paint than thinner? i noticed that you didnt put thinner when painting at the white base so i guess its ok not to put some right? i had a Wing zero MG so this might be alot of helpful to me when i started on painting it since most of the parts of it are white. i hoping that you can help me somehow. in any case thanks in advance.

@sagimalide Hello, I always thin my paint to the consistency of milk, I may have pre-thinned the white, can't recall. Always glad to help, the best way is to contact me through escale on the forums. I log on there everyday
