  • @stolzmans c.s.

Regretfully you are not being accurate enough in your interpretation of his words. Eisehower gradually became more progressive in his own life, this is the kind of maturation that all human beings undergo whilst they reflect and dare to introspect.

Wherever and whenever, we need conservative forces and progressive forces as well, in equal measures, like Ike is stating: it is all about the right balance.

    So be it.

  • An alert and knowledgable citizenry? Us? Who's he kidding? Too many of us are just waiting for Lady Gaga to fall on her ass in her latest outfit!!!

  • He warned us. He really warned us. We did not listen. We were in denial that this could happen in the USA, the Beacon of freedom. He was right, he IS right, me must stand up again to preserve the freedom of which was given to us by those who died for it. At ALL costs. It is our duty as Americans, as was our former President, to preserve the Constitution and country against enemies, foreign and domestic. Our freedom comes at a cost. Are you willing to pay for it? I know I am.

  • He signed away all authority over the commitee handling ufo disclosure yet he warns about misplacing power to the military industrial complex. Sounds like he regrets what he did, and he should because it is the reason that we still have not had ufo disclosure to this day. 1:18 to 2:03

  • SOB murdered 1.8 million German POW"S by changing their status and starved them to death in his camps thru Germany. Also conspired with the Russian Stalin(largest mass murderer in history) and hands 1/2 Europe to the Zion Russian who commit massive crimes to humanity for decades and u hail this 1/2 Swedish Jew a hero??? Fools have been misled.

  • just listen to faux news

and then go back to espn

    why learn anything?

glenn beck can tell you what to think!

  • "a government contract has become a substitute for intellectual curiosity" what a shame... selling your dreams for money.

  • This is a speech that should be heard in every nation's capital. It is more timely now than ever before. What I find to be the most intolerable is the intentional corruption of what Eisenhower calls our "Spiritual Nature". Of course, the same intentional corruption of the human "hardwired" "Spiritual Nature" has been carried out by ruling elites on every continent. We lost our way as a race. I hope it doesn't take an asteroid or climate change to remind us why there are ten commandments.

  • most of us have become the very thing he warned about in this speech: second class.

  • Oh hai youtube, just thought i'd ask you how you got the ability to read a man's mind through a video...oh whats that? you cant?, then why in bloody hell do you claim to know what ike was thinking? quote him to the letter or dont say what he "meant"

And "reading between the lines" is impossible to do without giving your own inflection to it, take his words, state them, and state your opinion after, stating your opinion first proves nothing except for that you don't value his words

  • @cutis1000 excuse me, do you watch Fox? if yes, you do not have the right to an opinion, That is all
