Ground Hog Day Feb 2, 2009-Ground Hogs Eatting

This is our pet Ground Hogs-Daisy Mae & Boots getting some special treats for ground hogs day. They were hilarious eatting this 7 grain bread. It kept getting stuff to the roof of their mouth. My husband said this is nothing. He gives them his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches that are left from work some days and that is even funnier-watching them get that off the roof of their mouths. They have eat this since they were born!!!

My husband caught the Mom while she was pregnant and she was about half tame kinda.. when she had her babies-we would bring them up to our house from our barn. then after she was done nursing them-we let the mom go. We kept them n a cage in the house until they got bigger.

feed them whole wheat bread, white bread makes them unhealthy. If you could make a sand box and lets see what they do in the sand/dirt.

yea we are feeding them whole wheat grain bread now.. I am curious too what they would do if he was let go now.. I would be worried for them... They are such big babies

yes they are tame-My husband and my daughter will carry them or pet - feed them.. I am still a very big scarried cat. Those teeth just look too scary to me..
