  • Hats off to these wonderful ppls who have the mentality to save the whales than to devour them!

Thank you so much for sharing!

  • The decent people of the world are standing against whaling, and their numbers are growing. The Sea Shepherds are doing as THOSE people wish! Sign the petition against the Faroe Island slaughter.

Even at the very least, it will prove how many people want this killing to end, and show that the Faroe people are spitefully against world majority w w w. theanimalrescuesite. com/clickToGive/campaign.faces?siteId=3&campaign=FaroeIslandWhaleSlaughter

  • @info145 Don´t think I´m afraid to have an open debate. Go ahead! I´m surrended by the true reality of the whale hunting and you think you know better? You tell me it is for fun and that we are true vikings? Jesus in the skies, you are just as insane as Paul Watson who fxcks with your minds. No one bothers to do resarch about his true persona. Our discussion isn´t a debate. You give me a bunch of propaganda and lies and you expect me to discuss in a sane manner? Dude... duuude...

  • People in animal rights groups are stuck in a paradigm forever and beyond. Since the dotcom crisis people are becoming like robots. Nature fades, we ignore it, kill it, instead of connecting with it, being in a symbiosis with it. Nature provides, hence we consume. Humans are becoming to intelligent and heading somewhere that is frightening. Where is the true wisdom of people? And that non sense about toxins in the whale has recently been proved otherwise by foreign scientist. EAT THAT!

  • @peepdeepful

Faroese are actual Vikings. They enjoy the killing.

Question: If they never killed another pilot whale, would the Faroese starve and die?

The Faroese do the killing as a GAME AND A CHALLENGE!

Nothing you ever say will stop the Sea Sheherds or the fight to save sea mammals!!!

Paul Watson founded the Sea Shepherds DECADES before Animal Planet approached him with the idea to do a show about their heroic activities! We'll never ever stop

  • "Most Faroese consider the hunt an important part of their culture and history. Animal rights groups criticize the hunt as being cruel and unnecessary. As of the end of November 2008 the chief medical officers of the Faroe Islands have recommended that pilot whales no longer be considered fit for human consumption because of the levels of toxins in the whales." w w w newscientist. com/article/dn16159-faroe-islanders-told-to-stop-eating-toxic-whales. html

  • @info145 If you believe what Paul Watson says then you clearly need to do some research. He is a man of profit. He is a messed up human being that gets millions of money to his own account from people who think he is right. And that is WRONG! Second of all, Faroe Islands DO NOT do this for profit, it is illegal and has never been practiced for profit! I promise you that! And the amount of whales that we kill do not affect the population of the whales. We do keep an eye on that!

  • "When we arrive, the killers take notice. This point was made very clear most recently with Operation Ferocious Isles as zero whales were killed during our time in the Faroe Islands. Now two of the Sea Shepherd ships, the Steve Irwin and the Brigitte Bardot, are returning to Great Britain to begin preparations for our next Antarctic Whale Defense Campaign in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary. We will be ready to once again intervene against illegal japanese whaling." -Paul Watson

  • "Plans to protect air and water, wilderness and wildlife, are in fact plans to protect man". - Stewart Udall

  • "It's in our backyard... it's in our front yard. Pollution and contamination are shortening all life. We're going to have to unite as a people and say 'no more'! We, the people, are going to have to put our thoughts together to save our planet here. We only have one water...one Air...one Mother Earth." -- Corbin Harney

  • @peepdeepful

i can't disagree with that. There truly are all kinds of pollution going on that could very easily be avoided.

And yes, if it weren't for the killing of those whales, i'd be saying the faroe islands is a beautiful and natural place. Very clean
