You can get a 450d second hand now for quite cheap. Really nice camera.

@904SF by rotating do you mean it changes the orientation of the picture when you turn the camera? sorry i thought you meant articulating screen that you can move around and change the angles, etc. - D60 does not have that.

they only thing that D60 cant do is produce a really RAW image.
Canon gives you what matrix captured no post processing.
But everything else is pretty similar
