  • Thanks Guy, your comments always mean a lot to me. I sometimes think I play this too fast but I love to let it go and see what happens. Maybe It's like you with a 50 "pounder". WOW!

    Love hearing from you,````````````Jeff

  • wondeful clawhammer. Ive been playing scruggs style for a few years now, but evertime I see this type of picking, I am ready to take up the claw! Great Great Great

  • Thanks for the comment. I too played Scruggs style for a while, but I really enjoy this style more. You should give it a try.

  • What a beautiful version of Sugar Hill. Like some other posters here I've come to clawhammer from three-finger pickin' too. Up there on my favourites I can't stop listening to this! Thank you for posting.

  • this is fantastic, I love it! Thanks for posting. Paul

  • wow, really cool. I was learning scruggs style and got decent at it but then made the switch and started learning clawhammer, it's so much more fun, you can dance to all the songs, there's so much more energy and spirit. I just started learning sugar hill and looked it up on youtube, thanks for giving me something to shoot for.

  • Very nice. I'm going to learn this tune from your version. Thanks.
