Ranger C6 ZR1 10.98 Bone-Stock on DRs Back-to-Back

Ranger drives a 2009 ZR1 owned by ZO6Jeff to a pair of back-to-back hot-lapped 10.98s at 130.97 and 131.87. The car is bone-stock and was wearing drag radial tires. DA at the time was +600 feet. Passes were made at Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek on April 8, 2009.

I had just 8 passes in this ZR1. Believe it will run 10.6X on DRs with a few more passes and under a little better conditions. The two passes in this video were the car's 22d and 23d of the day. Car was heat-soaked and would have benefited from a cool-down.

These two passes were on Hoosier DRs. Good tire for the ZR1. But wrong tire for the Z06.

Noone even know if these cars are even stock a c6 zo6 comes with 505 at the fly so probably puts 480rwhp there not going to run 10 stock and the new 5.0 are in the 12.

@rforracing like i said tho...obviously those mag fags dont' know how to drive cause there is vids up of Z06s with drag radials running 10.7's and vids up of the ZR1 stock on street tires running 10.7's also...mags also said the new 5.0 mustang runs a 13.2 when other mags have shown 12.6's...they say the new SS maro runs 13.3 and others have gotten as low as 12.7..a good rule of thumb is when u see a sports car review and the time they run..go ahead and knock atleast 4 tenths off of it

@ilovechevy1 Its not just 1 automobile mag completing the ZR1 quarter mile in 11.5, there are THREE of them. That 0.5 second difference is probably due to the drag radials only.
