@D3v1nH4H4 Civ games have always had 7+ different difficulty settings. So it can be as easy or as hard as you'd like.

You can also automate a lot of different aspects of it when you start, so you can focus on learning the game bit by bit.

@rootbeercrazy 4, because of the Beyond the Sword expansion and five years worth of patches. 5 has definite potential though.

This is such a detailed LP you even explain things you dont do and why you dont do them (first time I see a LP explain things that never happen, and its awesome to also learn what not to do and why). Also love how you also explain how everything works and the differences with civ 4 so everyone can understand what you are doing even if we dont have civ.

And those little facts are just the icing on top! (history, Napoleons height, banana genetic engineering, etc...)

I went to war with a state that was protected by another empire. I was also bottlenecked by a state that was my ally so when the protectors came to fight me, they would go through that city state and not make it through. I love the combat in this game. Such a deep game.

@D3v1nH4H4 Practically anyone can understand the basics, and if yo follow most advisors and play on the easiest level, it gets easy to understand. But it will take forever to master.
