  • That is so awesome! Well done! So did yoy find a book or something to help know how to make the joints. I would think snow load and the correct geometry would be important. Anyhiw, well dobe sir.

  • @Scooter6512 yes, i used several log cabin/ joint making books.

  • nice cabin! and what shit taste in music you have.

  • @jared8455 i know. i''ve come to dislike that music. i had a neil young song on it originally but utube took it off for copyright infringement. so this company paid me $25 to put their music on it.. ha !

  • @eggsstink i'm sure you're right. thats the way its usually done. one log cabin book i had showed it the way i did it and it worked out fine. initially, i was going to make it a garage with no floor at all, but then after i got the walls up, i decided to alter my plans and make it into a storage building/workshop, so i added the floor. and then the deck. and then the deck cover. i just wanted to build something out of logs.

  • How did you get the logs in place? They seem so heavy? For instance the logs that you have in place for the roof seems like you would need some sort of lifting device to accomplish that. Thanks.

  • @rokkyrakkoon at least ya got paid. that i can understand:-]

  • @jared8455 lmfao

  • @ImAChristianFirst once the logs cure as seen in the first half stacked up the water content is 40-60% less water is 8 pounds per gallon. if one does some math you will find out if a log is 400 lbs wet its 40-60% lighter if allowed to cure. See the documentary alone in the wilderness maybe its still in youtube...

  • This is a damn fine video! Good work!
