This didnt help...my pen tool doesn't make lines it covers up the whole circle or field..

You forgot to say that the add anchor point pen tool can not only add anchor points an change the handles, but you can also move each anchor point around. Just in case you put a point in the wrong spot.

i disagree it was helpful even tho its not really what im looking for. Im trying to find out why when i open my picture that i used the pen tool for in photoshop, when it opens up in cinema 4d it doesn't have any paths.
