Thanks for that info. I recall as a young child seeing a short film about sightseeing in London and when St Paul's Cathedral was shown the opening bars of this piece were heard. This was the first time I had ever heard it. Any idea if this is why it's called this?

This piece is known as "The Little" Prelude and Fugue in E minor. This was one of the first complete pieces of Bach that I mastered many years ago. I loved it then and love it even more so now. I found the fugue particularly haunting with its opening inverted mordent. this version is particularly good. Although not a difficult piece it gives the player tremendous satisfaction. At least it did me!
