Parents need to be PARENTS. Treating everyone like children is not going to protect anyone properly. How about teaching the parents about computers and the internet rather than do everything for them? :/

@abbynormal0ne thats the thing sad thing, the parents in question are going to think this makes their children safe. This blocks content, or tries to, but not people. and its people who pose the greatest danger.

Censorship is weakness. They have already lost and are trying to hide. It's hard for me to believe that the Australian people, a society that quite frankly I thought was rather open, would sit still for this even one moment.

@Samakain Seems more than just nanny state in this case. That term has such negative connotations in the US, if you are against the "teaparty' and their non-sense.
