Scanimation Creation Demo Video

This video shows how easy it is to use my new Scanimation Creation program to create your own Scanimations!

Hey IMP Can you adjust your scanmation program to rotary in addition to linear ?

I know it has limitations as the lines get smaller and closer as you draw to the center but I could use it for a design I'm working on.

@randomtechnology By rotary, do you mean lines (or, I suppose, triangles would be more appropriate) that converge on a point so you can rotate the page to animate it instead of sliding it horizontally?

I could attempt that, but no guarantees as to whether it gets done, and, if it does, as to the final quality.

my gif appears to work fine in the scanimation program but when I export them to bmp's it messes up and it doesn't look as good and has "glitches"

I have 6 frames

and the size of my file is 840x592pixels

any ideas why?

840x592 is pretty big, but if it works in the program, it should be fine outside. What do you mean by "glitches"?

There's no way to resize the window. However, the images are saved directly from the program, so if they worked in SC, they should be identical as files.

I like your tutorial, but would you be kind enough to remove my trademarked word "Scanimation" from the title of your posting? To see my work on YouTube, type "Rufus Seder Scanimation". Again, I like your work, but it is actually different than my patented technique, so it not only inaccurate to describe it as "Scanimation," it's illegal. Thanks for your understanding! What you are doing is called trademark infringement. You may still show the video and distribute the program - just change the name so that it does not include the mark Scanimation. Please comply.
