Does it protect ALL your files on FileVault because I want one file protected by FileVault

Thanks very much, I don't understand what people dislike about a free tutorial.

Thanks for the video but I have a question. When I use filevault, does it encrypt with your login password or your masterpassword? Because I have a good master password but a crappy login password. I want a good encryption for my files but I also don't to type in 30 keys to login every time.

Hi,
I have a Mac and use filevault. I guess I know alot about macs considering I mess around with mine alot. I have the 10.4.11 on mine and a question just popped into mind. How will filevault encrypt my data if say a power failure occurs? Would it encrypt it at boot? The simple fact that it did not log out could be a problem if I am correct. Really great video, love macs. Too bad our world is one bog pc.

@electrotech555 It won't cause any more problems than usual. This is because file vault never actually decrypts your data, it just mounts an encrypted volume and decrypts on the fly. That is also why it doesn't take forever to log in ;)
