@bdamaster60 I found 90 minutes of training with a lot of sparring fairly easy. There was less sweat there than in the first 15 minutes of my kickboxing training anyway. It's not even full contact.
I mean, I also did a style vs style fight to promote our sports centre, each fighting as his own style. I went up against a brown belter while I had only 1,5 year of kickboxing experience, and I steamrolled him with ease. He quit after just 3 minutes, while I was taking it easy.
@Blahb27 i dunno if you do any martial arts or not, but TKD is probably one of the most draining and exhausting forms of martial arts out there. Just because they look smooth and quick does not mean they dont take alot of energy to pull off those kicks.
@Blahb27 hmmm quite a valid point to compare it with badminton. However, i find that it's abit too offensive for him to say that UFC fighters laugh at the martial arts world, i mean each martial arts has its own flaws right?
@exodia94 His points is probably regarding to the athletic abilities of TKD practitioners comparing to other fighting sports. And that's a valid point.
TKD fighting is very light, not very exhausting or physically demanding. It's purely about reaction speed and agility. I would sooner compare badminton to TKD than compare it to a fighting sport.
@kiknarse try out tkd sparring, and let me noe after u sparred 3 rounds, and btw if ur a martial artist, u wont even compare styles, and btw UFC is a prize fighting sport, its called MMA for ur info, bet u just sit in front of the tv and suck up to UFC fighters alot
