Bill Decker is absolutely the fastest player We have ever met. This guy is on it! We are very proud and honored to say he plays a V-Pick Medium Lite Pointed 1.5mm guitar pick! We met up with Bill at NAMM this year in LA. We shot this video on Saturday morning.

Some folks have written us asking if we turned up the speed on this video to make it appear faster. We did NOT speed this video up in any way. Bill actually can play this fast. He is super-human! There is no tricks or underhanded mumbo jumbo going on. Bill Becker is a MONSTER.

@MrBayareapitbulls knowing every chops doesnt make u great, playing them cleanly with a listenable structure makes u great, thats not happening here, at all.... if ur honest and u play guitar u will agree, otherwise if u liked that solo i can't disagree with ur taste, but has a musician my ears are still hurting and wasnt impresse at all ! ... thx for encouragements tho ( sorry for english, not first language )

@MrBayareapitbulls i know a LOT about shredding, and this video reminded me the first time i've tryed to shred, doing every where on the guitar without caring if the phrasing is listenable ....... to sad he seem to have great playing abilities but maybe shredding is not what he should play ? ...

@MrBayareapitbulls lolll im not talking about the tone, whoever did the tones doesnt change a thing, i might be a good technician that doesnt make him cleaner in his playing, anyway .....if u play guitar u will be honest enough to agree with me that he'S not a clean player ..... i understand that he is at NAMM not ONLY for his guitar skills, but still i would be dispointed if i was in front of him and he was playing like this ( sorry for english, not first language )

@math1st  LOL The funny thing is, most of the tones you hear on the EMG sight were recorded by Bill Decker. He does work for them all the time (EMG’s are the best pickups by the way). Jeff Loomis is a nice guy too; I drank some beers with him last year at the EMG after party, there both totally good guys and can play.
