@Dombowerphoto I have a canon dslr and I put a lens hood on it. The thing is, the lens hood rotates with the lens when I focus. Help please?

the canon "un-extends" when you zoom

Hi Dom, I was wondering how come in other reviews, their auto focus speed is slow on nikon cameras, any ideas... yours is pretty fast.
thanks

Irritating to watch.

@abby123456789100 I'd definitely say go with the 1.4. I had the 1.8II for a while and just had to get rid of it.... the build quality is horrible and it's really difficult to find good copies of the 1.8. But for the price the 1.4 is AMAZING! I love it, I seriously shoot on my $400 1.4 probably 80% of the time while my L glass just sits in my bag.

Great review! For some reason, your copy focuses faster than mine xD

i was talking about a different lens--- is the 50 mm f1/4 or 1/8 a good lens
i read somewhere that this lens kinda sucks at f stops lower than 4? what's up with that?

@foSteezy ive shot for magazines with this lens at f2.8 a number of times. no problem. maybe it depends on the example, or if you are a pixel peeper

I have a friend (professional photographer) who is selling a Tamron 28-75mm 2.8f for $65. Is this a good price for a gently used lens? Could I get any good use from this?
