in 1791, when Mozart died, Joseph Haydn said that "the world wouldn' t see such talent for 100 years"....
...it's clear that no one knew that 21 years before (1770) Beethoven was born, and in 1824, much less than 100 years, he composed the best masterpiece in the world yet, the Ninth Symphony

@amadeus9man It's not like losing his hearing made him unable to imagine the sounds of the music he was writing, if anything, it helped him concentrate and get inspiration. Such a genius.

@MrEzraP What i meant was that C Minor was apparently Beethoven's most dramatic/heroic/proficient key. If his Ninth Symphony was in this key, how much different would it sound (as in what different chords would he have used, etc.).
