always tell your bank that you are out of your home country. Make sure you have savings in another bank account that you have access to. For example if you spend all your cash or your credit card get blocked make sure that you have money in a internet ISA. I was in Spain and this ISA saved me from going without food....

Tony...I liked your video! I was in Thailand in 2007 for over 30 days and loved it! I was wondering what are the current conditions there now?? I've watched the news and really haven't heard much about the political problems.

@549silver Political situation seems to be about as stable as Thailand gets. Lots of sabre rattling from both sides but it doesn't appear that any violence will happen soon. The election will be coming up in June so keep an eye on the news during that time. I cover more Thai news on my weekly podcast at Bangkok Podcast
