  • You are so stupid. Why don't you use a wheel brush instead of cutting yourself and not even getting the job done right. What if the rotor is too big for you to put your hand down in there? Also way to use just soap to clean wheels. What about all that hard baked on brake dust? You don't know how to detail.

  • @mustangKINGPIN you're not too bright either, kingpin. we might cut ourselves occasionally but the job is done right... every time. if the rotor is too big we use a brush or remove the wheel (depending on the job). yes, there is soap and degreaser in our bucket used for wheels and wells. on baked on/caked on wheels, we pre-soak them with a stronger mixture.

as for brushes in the wheel wells, my hands with a mitt does a better job than any brush. when they're caked we use a brush on them too

  • @ALITL8 Out of curiosity could you recommend any specific products to use on race wheels. They see a decent amount of track time and high temperatures so they get pretty nasty. Id still like to use a product that is gentle as well....they might be track ready but I still like them to look good.

  • @fish4kbcf what type of race wheels are we talking about?

  • i took my wheel off to clean the wells ... is that bad?

  • @cowroostie lol that works too!

  • That's either a giant wheel or a tiny person. His whole arm fits through the spokes and around the tire! No wonder he can easily reach the inner surfaces.

  • the proper way woulbe, and easier to take theblooming wheel off first

  • Did you hit your hand on 2:22? :s

  • Nice job bro, glad to see someone puts in a little effort into actually clean their rims. I got a 330xi and thats how they always look.

  • just take the wheel off, drench it in gasoline, rinse = super clean :)

  • is that guy mexican?

  • Great Job! I like the way you cleaned every single nooks, but you forgot to rinse! lol juz kidding ha ha ha

  • Great job demonstrating good technique. What kind of soap and degreaser do you use for the bucket solution? I detail part time and use Meguiars products. For the wheels and tires, I use Super Degreaser at either 4:1 or 10:1 but for wheels I use All Purpose Cleaner at either 4:1 or 10:1. The ratio depends on how dirty the items are. I like the wheel brushes at autozone as they allow me to reach far into the wheel and I like a brush for the wheel face. A long brush for wheel wells is good too.
