@BVargas78 The amazons started with the Greeks, not Romans.

Pict women were also taught how to fight like Scythian woman. It was just common sense for Romans to send them to the Arena.
But I have a guess that these women were not so pretty as the ones in the documentary.

@tacotony24 I'm sure they had some kind of training facility. I wonder if they ever used them to recreate the myths of the amazons who defeated men in open battle. I heard the Romans liked to recreate the myths in the amphitheatres.

This is for the ignorant people who believe that Gladiatrixes are just something of pure fantasy. Very informative and provocative documentary.
