I prefer the American version of St. Patricks day and I'm Irish living in Ireland. They actually celebrate Ireland on that day as opposed to celebrating every other culture in Ireland like the Dublin parade. Paddys day in Ireland is just another commercialized day for binge drinking, people barely even go to mass anymore on paddy's day. Ginger midgets do exist, but they arent leprechauns, and plenty of Irish people waddle too
