Ron Paul on Write In Voting

Ron Paul makes clear he is not a registered Write In Candidate and will not be because he does not believe the majority of the votes will ever be counted, among other reasons he states. It's very clear from this lecture he will not be writing himself in and therefor voting for someone else. People need to once again follow his example. Remember, it is NOT a vote unless it is counted.

His record as Governor is extremely impressive and he isn't owned by Goldman Sachs.

Revolution 2.0 is the continuation of the Revolution started by Ron Paul and now being carried on by Gary Johnson. Gary Johnson's Message to the Ron Paul Revolutionaries delivered at PAUL Fest:

"I want you all to know that I am a Dr. Paul fan," Johnson, a former two-term Republican governor of New Mexico, told the crowd to loud applause.

Johnson emphasized his agreement with Paul on foreign policy and auditing the Federal Reserve as he made the case that he is the best candidate to move the Texas congressman's message forward in the presidential race.

Initially, Johnson sought the Republican nomination for president while Paul was still a candidate, but he told the crowd he had long been a Paul supporter.

"Ron Paul asked me for my endorsement in 2008 and I readily gave him that endorsement," Johnson said. "When I dropped out of the Republican primary, I asked everyone who was going to vote for me to vote for Ron Paul."

Cheers erupted when Johnson reminded the audience that, during his final appearance in the Republican presidential debates, he said he would pick Ron Paul to be his running mate if nominated.

"If I thought Ron Paul was going to get the nomination I would have not done this and I would have let him get the nomination," Johnson explained. "I would be along with you supporting Dr. Paul right now."

Amen to that. I cannot believe most of these people are really Ron Paul folks. Ron Paul would NEVER behave like they have and on total disinfo at that. Gary Johnson is a Ron Paul supporter/endorser. Why would Liberty lover be so ugly to one of their own? If this Liberty Movement fails it will be the fault of people like that ... people who think Revolution gives them the right to become the enemy. The Richard Gilbert opportunist. I see it as the Liberty Movement and the GOP. Pick a Side.

Let's don't give up on Rand either. He's reaching out to the mainstream Republicans; but as off-putting as it may be to the libertarian purists, it really will make him a stronger candidate than his dad was. We have to take over the party before we can change it.

Well said. Now what is important is how we rebound. If the Liberty Movement truly fractures there really is nothing left to get behind. Gary Johnson and Ron Paul need to tour together just prove our slower Revolutionaries that Gary is really one of us and part of this thing. It's like if Ron Paul doesn't spell it out of them, they turn conspiracy theoriest and don't get it. Such an embarrassment for the Revolution that in the final days before the election we were completely fractured.

No writing in Ron Paul does not equate to it being all about the man rather than the principles he promoted.  Just the opposite it means you are so dedicated to those prinicples that you can only vote for the person you know will stay true to them!

Then the media was right. It was never about liberty, or balanced budgets, or monetary reform, or civil liberties. It was just a fleeting personality cult of "Paultards" that won't outlast his own political career.

Ron Paul is a great man who will have a prominent place in history, but this was never about him. It's about the moral and political philosophy he based his campaign on. If your support for the movement begins and ends with Ron Paul, then don't expect anything to change.
