His name is actually spelled Jon Bauman. As for the video, it's very good that Jon has helped support a bill that protects the work, reputation, and livelihood of classic bands, however, this video would be a great deal better if (1) the interviewer was more audible; (2) there was no distracting background music -- it's an interview; (3) if there was music, it was Sha Na Na's music playing in the background -- not music that has no bearing on him or his work.

Interesting. Of course there are tribute bands, but I had never heard of this kind of identity theft in the music industry. What complicates the matter, I suppose, are the groups that also changed members (some were changed frequently), making the line-up less clear at times and creating a more unclear identity/image for the band.
