marty is my alltime favorite country singer.i had the pleasure of seeing him in san diego mid 60's.he was not only a great singer he was a great entertainer.he would interact with his audience.

has never listend but probably he is being
supposed to have composed lyric writing before visit to Japan.

Marty toured Japan in the mid 60's CaptSato and he released a song called 'I-Eish-Tay-Mah-Su' a song about an American sailor and a Japanese girl. He also had Katz Kubiyashi as a steel guitarist for many years.
