well this is just bull shitt. at my school we have these computers and they r not durable at all. i have had this computer for since last august and the keyboard is about to fall off, the things to hold the monitor when closed fell off and alot of other stuff. and at my school there r at least 25 visits to the IT center complaining about their computer problems(all the students). But I reallyl dol love this computer

If i was you're kid i would be ecstatic. But I'm not your kid so to answer senselessly. For school work... Awesome. For games is a bit under OK if you look at 3D acceleration and screen size (pick a 700$ nVidia machine in staid). So it depends.
Personally i don't think a 1600$ professional tablet is the right choice for your 13 year old. But you might take a look at there home version tablet pc: HP TouchSmart tm2-2100... Not military standard, but a lot cheaper.

And the price on HP is WAY cheaper then the Panasonic. And there both outrageously expensive. So im going for the HP... Does anyone know if the stylus has pressure sensibility that will work in Photoshop?

Yes, i bought the HP TM2 too..... not bad and i play games on it...... compared with the previous TX series.....which HP IS STUCK WITH A LOT OF STOCKS.... TM2 is a better buy... however.... they should FIX A HAND STRAP ONTO IT so that it is easier to HOLD..... like my favourite PANASONIC CF C1..... ha ha...
