@andrisn14 blues major and minor, major and minor penta tonic, cromatic scale, Aeolian minor (not dominant)...most of the time hes playing in either A minor or E minor....depends on the song... and lot of his runs are penta tonic except for suff like on "im the one" ...and thats just the same thing played over and over (pattern wise) so its cromatic.

@Guitarwannabee O.o thats an Evo? astounding. I hated the pickups I swapped them out of my JEM for a tone zone/air norton, but they sound really good here...

@andrisn14 van halen normally uses major scales, which is ass backwards to the "80's rock" mentality :p

Been watching your vids for a good while now, recently got back into van halen again. Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to show this stuff to us, I wouldn't worry about people.
