Pit bulls and all other large, 'bully' type dogs are just dogs, like every other breed. My sister has a pit bull who is one of the sweetest, most tolerant dogs I've ever met, even putting up with my niece yanking on his ears and mouth without any fuss whatsoever. Meanwhile, I have a scar on my ankle from a chihuahua my aunt had who decided it didn't like me for some reason. That little dog was the only animal I've ever met that has had a problem with me. Punish the deed, not the breed!
