By culturing the cream you add beneficial bacteria as well as vitamins. Butter is not the monster it's made out to be. Saturated fat is not killing us, not the good kind any way. Home made butter is a lot more tastier and you know what goes in it. You can also add spices like sage to give it a little kick.

  • very good job of explaining how make kefir butter......Now I'm going to make some ...TY :)

  • Omg, you're adorable! Love the video - really great info. I have some raw cream, so I was looking for ideas (I also have kefir grains). Thanks!

  • When I cultured my cream I just put in one or two kefir grains, and let it sit for just as long as I let my kefir culture for. Cultured butter tastes so good!

  • could you use a stick blender in stead of a regular one?
