"Mendelssohn: Lost Treasures and the Wagner Suppression" was presented at the Museum on January 28, 2009. The program featured 13 world premieres. Following the performance, several of the artists and Stephen Somary (founder and artistic director of The Mendelssohn Project) were interviewed by Elliot Forrest (host and producer on WQXR). This video is the second of two parts. Seated left to right: Anna Polonsky, Kevin Deas, Nicholas Tzavaras, Weigang Lei, Stephen Somary, and Ellliot Forrest.
Congratulations for your great project and achievements! Bravo!!!!! Thanks to this kind of action, Mendelssohn will FAIRLY be (re)considered as one of the Greatests, after so many years(more than a century) of irrelevant, subjective, excessive deny of his work, still today predominant, including in France.
